Not a bad survey, but few true "midnight movies" here; mostly just clunkers and big studio flicks that failed. There is a lot of gods info on them nevertheless, so it's not a bad read for a moviehound. The e-book formatting left a bit to be desired, but it was pretty readable. It you like mediocre 80s-90s horror and action flicks, you'll probably like this; if you prefer your journeys into schadenfraude more classic, perhaps not so much.

ive only read the sample but feel that the rest is just as bad . whoever wrote this is a pretty bad writer.yuck!get another book!
This was a good and insightful trip into movieland but it could of used a spell check before it was sent out.
A fun read about a relatively obscure but fascinating branch of the movie industry.
It was good but I would have liked to have seen more information on more of the movies.
Much like his Scooby Snacks, Ian Watson delivers another round of funny reviews of bad flicks in several categories. Reminding us that these bad flicks are at least entertaining and better then most blockbusters.
In a way I really admire the folks who write these sorts of books since they HAVE to sit through the dreadful movies. Thanks! 😁
